Welcome to my Clinical Reflexology Blog

Welcome to my blog.

My journey with Clinical Reflexology began on the 18th May 2017 when I had my first training session.  I loved it and there was no going back.  I thought further education and a change of career was the last thing I would be doing in my 50's but circumstances meant I needed to find a purpose and goal in life and an additional income.

With encouragement and advice from my sister, who was also Clinical Reflexology Practioner for a number of years before she retired, I enrolled with my tutor Alison Morewood with the Clinical Association of  Reflexology.

At first, the prospect of studying after so many years was quite scary, but Alison is an excellent teacher who nurtured, coaxed and identified the method of learning that would suit me the best.  I've always been a creative person and science was never my forte at school and faced with learning Anatomy and Physiology was daunting to say the least.  However, with Alison's help, my creativity was actually the thing that helped me to remember the information I needed.  I discovered I am a visual learner and I created diagrams, pictures, patterns and word association to aid my learning.  It actually became quite fun!  Yes! Revision was fun!

So fast forward 10 months and over 100 pairs of feet later,  I am now a qualified Level 3 Therapist in Clinical Reflexology and now embarking on the next stage of my training to be a Level 4 Practitioner.

I have a therapy room Room 4 at Horse Carrs on Shawclough Road, Rochdale, OL11 6LG.  Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or would like to make an appointment for a treatment.  I look forward to seeing you and your feet.
